Laundry Attendant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, towels, and other fabric items to ensure a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, including handling delicate fabrics and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements Handle special cleaning processes such as dry cleaning when necessary Ensure all laundry is cleaned according to safety and quality standards Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment Follow proper procedures for stain removal and fabric care Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Experience Prior experience in laundry services or cleaning is preferred Hotel or hospitality experience is considered a strong advantage Knowledge of laundry techniques including dry cleaning is beneficial Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team This role is vital in delivering exceptional service quality through meticulous laundry care.
