The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position is essential in ensuring that all items are laundered, dried, and pressed to meet the high standards expected in a hotel environment. The Laundry Attendant will work closely with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction. Duties Operate washing machines, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to launder items effectively. Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and garments according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines. Collaborate with hotel staff to fulfill laundry requests promptly and efficiently. Keep track of inventory levels for laundry supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Skills Experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Excellent organizational skills to ensure timely completion of laundry duties. Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus but not mandatory.
