Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing laundry services for residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized laundry area. This position oversees the operation of resident laundry, monitors coin-operated laundry machines, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures compliance with infection control and safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Laundry Services Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry. Ensure resident clothing and linens are returned to the correct resident. Follow infection control procedures when handling soiled laundry. Inspect clothing and linens for damage and report concerns to the supervisor. Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality while handling personal belongings. Coin-Operated Machine Management Monitor coin-operated washers and dryers to ensure proper operation. Maintain accurate logs of coin collections and submit funds as directed. Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance or vendors. Documentation Maintain laundry service logs and resident laundry records. Complete reports related to lost, damaged, or unclaimed items. Customer Service Assist residents with laundry-related questions and concerns. Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff. Provide prompt and courteous service while maintaining a positive attitude. Qualifications Previous laundry, housekeeping, or assisted living experience preferred. Ability to operate laundry equipment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and professionalism. This position requires a background check, fingerprinting and a physical exam.

$16.94 per hour
