Duties Supervise and coordinate all laundry room activities, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing textiles Ensure all laundry procedures meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and laundry detergents, placing orders as needed Train and motivate staff on proper laundry techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote efficiency and safety Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams Implement best practices for dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring high-quality results Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping with a focus on linen management Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization Good communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments seamlessly Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently while troubleshooting common issues Prior experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable for understanding industry-specific needs
