Job Description

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team! Laundry Attendant Evening shifts 5pm-Midnight Part Time •SUNDAYS are
MANDATORY
•Sort, Wash, Dry, and Fold laundry for a busy hotel. This includes- sheets, duvets, towels, blankets etc. Keep the laundry room clean by wiping down machines and cleaning dryer lint traps Sort the laundry items according to material and color Wash, dry, and fold laundry items Maintain inventory levels which include detergent, bags, and other retail items Provide other various Laundry services if required Must be able to stand for 7-8 hour shift Must be able to fold sheets, duvets On-the-job training or minimum work experience is a plus Skills • Able to communicate politely and professionally Physically fit as the job involves a lot of manual labor work Agile and efficient Ability to follow instructions Attention to detail Capable of working flexible schedule Requirements-Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be able to work independently

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Retrieves dirty linens from housekeeping Separates linens by type and pre-treats stains Ensures dirty linens are properly washed and dried Folds and stacks clean linen on linen carts Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Perform various other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of High School education One (1) year in Housekeeping role preferred
KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to multi-task Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Team player Ability to exceed expectations of guests Knowledge of cleanliness standards The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
