Location:
South Florida Detention Facility Deployment:
8 Weeks Onsite and 2 Weeks Off | 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week | Housing +
Meals Provided Pay:
$1,908/week We are staffing a secure detention facility in a remote region of South Florida. We're looking for Laundry Staff members ready to deploy, live onsite, and operate in a structured, high-security environment. This is a boots-on-the-ground mission, not a desk job. You'll be part of a rotational deployment with full housing and meals. If you're disciplined, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to support facility laundry operations in a controlled environment, we want you. Your Mission
  • Support daily laundry operations, including collection, sorting, washing, drying, folding, storage, and distribution of laundry items.
  • Handle linens, uniforms, towels, bedding, and other facility laundry items according to established procedures.
  • Operate washers, dryers, carts, and basic laundry equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas, equipment, carts, and assigned workspaces.
  • Follow sanitation, hygiene, infection-control, and safety procedures at all times.
  • Track laundry loads, inventory, shortages, damaged items, and supply needs as directed.
  • Properly separate, bag, handle, and report soiled or contaminated items according to facility procedures.
  • Work professionally with staff, supervisors, and authorized personnel in a secure facility environment.
  • Follow all facility rules, safety requirements, security protocols, and chain-of-command expectations.
  • Perform duties in an austere detention facility environment that may include long shifts, repetitive physical work, controlled access areas, and changing operational priorities. Requirements
  • Prior laundry, housekeeping, janitorial, warehouse, hospitality, institutional, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate basic laundry equipment and follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a secure, austere, and highly structured detention facility environment.
  • Ability to follow sanitation procedures, safety protocols, and supervisor direction.
  • Strong reliability, teamwork, and work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a high-volume operational environment.
  • Ability to pass background checks and security clearances required for work in a detention facility.
Shift availability:
This position will work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week for the duration of the deployment, totaling 84 hours per week. Must be open to any of the following 12-hour shifts:

    Relocate before starting work and for the duration of the 8-week onsite rotation (Required). Housing and meals are provided.
