The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including hospitality settings, residential homes, and commercial spaces. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and residents alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Change linens and make beds according to established procedures. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including industrial cleaning tasks. Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services preferred; experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
