In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and freshness of linens, towels, and guest clothing, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Duties Operate industrial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing efficiently and safely Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, or cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure quality results Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special garments using appropriate solvents and equipment Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to ensure a secure work environment Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low Support guest requests promptly by delivering clean linens or assisting with special laundry needs as required Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and correctly sorted Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and efficiently Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to guest requests Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with precision
