Job Description

Reports to:
Housekeeping Director Overall Scope and Responsibility:
Responsible for cleanliness, collection, distribution, and inventory of all linens.
Essential Duties:
Sort soiled linen, separate terry for in house laundry and linen for outsource laundry. Collect dirty linen into laundry bins and transport carts to the dock, transport empty bins to chute area. Load / unload bins of linen from laundry truck. Load and unload washers and dryers fold terry. Maintain laundry area clean. Clean laundry machines. Assist in laundry inventories. Report all mechanical problems and hazardous conditions to supervisor. PM shift to assist uniform room. Job Knowledge, Skills,Abilities Must be able to carry 75 lbs. Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills. Strong initiative and self-motivation. Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal. An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace. Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast paced environment. Minimum one year experience within housekeeping dept. Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
