The Laundry Engineer Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and performing basic diagnostics on all equipment in the Laundry Facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary objective is to keep and maintain all equipment in the facility in good, clean operating order. Maintain building and support functions for the laundry facility as required by the Chief Engineer. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/ 5 years of experience maintaining various laundry equipment or equivalent.

Technical Abilities:
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical fields. Ability to read an electrical schematic. Must possess basic electrical troubleshooting skills and a basic knowledge of three-phase power. Ability to perform mechanical tasks such as changing pumps or motors. Ability to work and think on their own with little or no supervision. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Must climb ladders and work in a mechanical lift ascending to 30 feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Able to stand and walk for extended periods. Able to lift and carry over 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
