Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guests, particularly in a senior living environment. The Laundry Attendant will work closely with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service. Duties Operate washing machines, dryers, and steaming equipment according to established procedures. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments as per standards. Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas to ensure a safe working environment. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages or needs for reordering. Handle guest laundry requests with care and attention to detail. Ensure that all items are processed in a timely manner to meet operational demands. Follow safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Hotel or senior living experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
