Responsibilities Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialty fabrics using appropriate solvents and techniques Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing workstations and storage spaces Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low Support overall hotel cleanliness efforts by assisting with light cleaning tasks as needed to uphold hygiene standards Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or cleaning services, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment Knowledge of laundry equipment operation, including washers, dryers, pressing machines, and dry cleaning processes Strong understanding of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality laundry results and adherence to hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and following instructions effectively Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads safely, and perform repetitive tasks with precision
