Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned and laundered to the highest standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, and garments
• Operate laundry machinery and equipment
• Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of laundry operations and procedures
• Familiarity with dry cleaning techniques is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Skills:

• Ability to clean, launder, and press linens, towels, and garments effectively
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their care requirements
• Familiarity with operating laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and ironing equipment
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
