Hiring for all positions within an Industrial Laundry. The includes job functions such as operating a van or box truck to pick-up and deliver linens, Sorting, Operating Industrial Washing Machines / Dryers / Dry-Cleaning Machines / Flatironer, Press, Hand-folding, Packaging, Hanging, Wrapping, Inspecting, Quality Control, etc. Responsibilities and the skills required will vary based on the position the candidate is chosen for. Basic requirements for application include the following:

Responsibilities:

• Wash, Dry, Fold, Press, etc. laundry in accordance with the guidelines for each item.
• Maintain production goals
• Maintains responsibility of quality control

Skills/Abilities:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40-50 lbs (washroom & dry room)
• Ability to work with hands
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
• Ability to maintain and achieve production goals
• Adherence to safety requirements and procedures as directed
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ability to work both in teams, and / or independently
• Ability to perform tasks in an efficient manner
• Ability to arrive at work on time daily
• Effective communication with supervisor and peers
• Ability to use machines and automated equipment (Forklift, Steam Press, Flatironer, Washers / Dryers, etc.

)

Experience/Credentials and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in an industrial / assembly operation preferred
• Previous experience working with production goals
• Must be over the age of 18
• High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous experience may be substituted with educational / vocational training equivalent.

Compensation is based on the federal pay scale. Our hours of operation are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. The shift hours will vary based on the position selected / chosen. This position will be part time, with benefits included (Health & Welfare Hours, Vacation, Paid Sick Leave). A Drug test will be required for chosen candidate. We retain the right to reject a candidate if they do not agree to comply with our corporate policies and procedures. Use of cellphones while on the clock will not be tolerated.
