Overview Join our dynamic team as a Weekend Laundry Attendant and play a vital role in ensuring our residents experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment by expertly managing laundry operations, including washing, drying, and finishing linens and garments. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment efficiently, including washers, dryers, and specialty machines for dry cleaning when necessary Sort, load, and unload laundry items with care to prevent damage and ensure quality results Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and delicate fabrics Inspect garments and linens for stains or damages, notifying management of any issues Assist with folding, organizing, and storing clean laundry to support smooth operational flow Support the overall cleanliness of the senior living by ensuring laundry supplies are stocked and organized Experience Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with laundry equipment operation and basic cleaning techniques is advantageous Ability to work efficiently during busy weekends while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work safely with cleaning chemicals This position offers an engaging environment where your efforts directly contribute to resident satisfaction.
