Housekeeping Manager Position Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the facility, ensuring all laundry is cleaned, dried, folded, and stored properly. This role plays a key part in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items. Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room. Track inventory of linens and report shortages or excesses. Follow proper procedures for handling contaminated or soiled items. Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times. Assist with delivery and distribution of clean laundry to designated areas. Perform minor maintenance on laundry equipment as needed. Support other housekeeping tasks as assigned.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals

Requirements:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is a plus. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and safety procedures.
