Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all laundry services meet our high standards of quality and efficiency, contributing to an exceptional experience for our guests. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper settings are used for different fabric types. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. Adhering to safety and quality standards. Inspect linens and garments for stains or damage, taking appropriate action to address issues. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and work surfaces. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry services. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques, including dry cleaning processes. Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
