Part-Time Laundry Aide Our skilled nursing facility is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to join our team. The Laundry Aide plays an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable environment for our residents by ensuring all linens, towels, and resident clothing are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized. The Laundry Aide works closely with housekeeping and nursing staff to support daily operations and resident comfort. Benefits Supportive team environment Consistent part-time hours Opportunity to work in a healthcare setting serving residents in need Training provided for the Laundry Aide role Opportunities for additional hours when available Duties and Responsibilities Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, towels, and facility laundry Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently Sort laundry according to color, fabric type, and washing requirements Maintain clean and organized laundry areas Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and appropriate facility departments Label and track resident clothing as needed Report equipment issues or supply needs to supervisor Support housekeeping and facility staff as needed Compensation and Schedule Part-time position Competitive hourly pay based on experience Flexible scheduling with weekday and weekend availability preferred Typical shifts range from 5-6 hours Skills and Qualifications Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred but not required Ability to operate laundry equipment or willingness to learn Strong attention to detail Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry laundry throughout shift Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team The Laundry Aide is an important part of the care team, helping ensure residents have clean clothing and linens every day.
