In This Role You Will :
Follows community's policies and procedures for handling, storing, processing, and transporting linen and residents' personal laundry. Complies with infection control requirements of the laundry and uses appropriate personal protective equipment and supplies, as necessary. Establishes and adheres to laundry schedule to ensure adequate supply of clean laundry is available in all required areas. Assigns schedules/duties for laundry team members as appropriate. Sorts and loads laundry as designated. Washes linen, clothing and other items and records weights for each load. Irons linen and clothing. Reads labels on personal laundry prior to washing. Reports any damaged or lost clothing articles to the supervisor. Arranges for repairs and/or replacements, as necessary. Ensures residents' garments are properly labeled and labels items, as appropriate. Follows all written infection control procedures established by the community and performs other related duties as assigned
Shift Details :
Tuesday through Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Who You Are :
