Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Laundry Equipment Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of commercial laundry machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and related systems. Your expertise will help keep our facilities running smoothly, providing exceptional service to our clients and maintaining high standards of equipment performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for mechanical and electrical systems, combined with excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities Perform installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, ironers and other mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure equipment functions efficiently. Document all service activities, including preventative maintenance schedules, thoroughly in logs or digital records, including parts used and repair details. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or field technician specializing in laundry equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings. Hands-on experience with appliance repair, electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC, or similar fields. Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively. Prior experience working in field service environments demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
