Laundry Attendant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, uniforms, and other textiles. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation within our facility, providing a clean and comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Previous hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow in the hospitality industry. Duties Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles efficiently Sort laundry items according to type, color, and cleaning requirements Perform dry cleaning services as needed for delicate or special items Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any maintenance issues promptly Follow established procedures for handling guest or client belongings with care and confidentiality Ensure timely completion of laundry tasks to meet operational deadlines Skills Experience with laundry operations, including washing, drying, and folding techniques Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols in a laundry environment Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus Previous hotel or hospitality experience is desirable but not required Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills within the hospitality sector while contributing to a clean and welcoming environment.
