Hotel Laundry Attendant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and guest garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to our guests' overall experience at the hotel. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and pressing machines efficiently and safely. Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damages and treat them appropriately before laundering. Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces. Ensure that all laundry supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and operating machinery. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Prior hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
