This energetic position involves efficiently handling laundry operations, ensuring all items are processed with care and attention to detail. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment for dry cleaning when applicable. Sort, fold, and organize linens and towels with precision. Ensure all laundry items are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning equipment and workspaces. Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of stock needs. Support other housekeeping or hotel staff with laundry-related tasks as needed to ensure seamless service delivery. Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, stain removal, and folding. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail to ensure all items meet quality standards. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
