Laundry Attendant

In this position, you will be responsible for completing Wash-Dry-Fold orders and providing customer service to in store laundry patrons. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers efficiently and safely. Sort laundry items by type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform various cleaning tasks including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies, sanitizing machines, and ensuring a safe working environment. Follow proper procedures for the care and handling of linens, uniforms, and guest items to prevent damage or loss. Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies like detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents. Collaborate with team members to meet daily laundry quotas while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Requirements Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, stain removal, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness. Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
