Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Laundromat Attendant to ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all customers. In this hands-on role, you will provide excellent service, keep machines running smoothly, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and assist with machine operation, laundry questions, and service needs Assist with wash/dry/fold for pickup/dropoff customers Process payments, make change, and handle cash/credit transactions accurately Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the entire laundromat (floors, machines, counters, bathrooms, folding areas, etc.) Perform regular machine checks, report malfunctions, and complete basic maintenance or troubleshooting Stock and organize supplies (detergent, softener, vending items, bags, etc.) Empty lint traps, clean dryers, and ensure all equipment is in proper working order Enforce facility rules and maintain a safe, orderly environment Open and/or close the laundromat following established procedures Keep accurate records of daily sales, incidents, and maintenance logs Provide friendly, professional support to customers of all ages and backgrounds Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required) Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs Comfortable handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends and some evenings) Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workspace Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
