Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their laundry needs in a courteous manner Operate and monitor laundry machines, including washers and dryers, ensuring proper usage and maintenance Keep the laundromat clean and organized by sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and managing trash disposal Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Assist customers with questions about machine operation or laundry services, providing clear instructions when needed Perform basic math calculations for transactions and pricing adjustments Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment and reporting any malfunctions or hazards promptly Requirements Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for customer service is essential Knowledge of the laundry processes is a plus but can be learned on the job Perform Wash/Dry/Fold of customers drop-off laundry Strong cleaning skills to ensure the laundromat remains tidy and inviting Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and foster a positive atmosphere Reliable with a strong work ethic, able to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderately heavy items, and work independently or as part of a team Basic understanding of safety procedures related to laundry equipment is advantageous This position offers an engaging environment where your proactive attitude makes a real difference.
