Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Laundry Attendant and play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of laundry facilities, handling guest linens, towels, and uniforms with care and efficiency. Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing efficiently. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling. Perform cleaning tasks including folding, ironing, and preparing laundry for distribution to various hotel departments or guest rooms. Manage dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized items requiring professional treatment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safety protocols are followed. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock levels are low. Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints. Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
