at Maine Veterans' Home in Caribou, Maine, United States Job Description Laundry Aide (Per diem) Caribou, ME (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=163+Van+Buren+Rd+Caribou+ME+USA+04736-3567) Description We are seeking a reliable Laundry Aide to assist with coverage for weekends, holidays, vacations, and staff time-off requests. This important role helps ensure our residents have clean, comfortable linens and clothing every day. Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry and facility linens
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures

  • Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience is a plus
  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
