Job Description

Laundry Aide Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry Aide to join our team at Carriage House Nursing and Rehab in Bay City, Michigan. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility by ensuring that linens and garments are cleaned, sanitized, and processed in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:
Wash, dry, and fold laundry in a timely and efficient manner to meet the needs of our residents Sort and categorize laundry to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance Sanitize and disinfect laundry equipment and facilities to maintain a clean and healthy environment Maintain accurate records of laundry processing and inventory Collaborate with other team members to achieve efficient and effective laundry operations Ensure that all laundry supplies are stocked and properly maintained
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry bags and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills How to
