In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens and garments. Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment with precision and care Sort linens and garments according to type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialty items using appropriate solvents and techniques Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing workstations and equipment Fold, iron, and organize clean linens and clothing for timely distribution across hotel departments Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and machine operation to prevent accidents Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping preferred Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, ironing, and dry cleaning processes Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met consistently Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently Good organizational skills for managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry services Reliable team player with a positive attitude committed to guest satisfaction Must have prior hotel experince must have at least 1 year of laundry attendant This role is an excellent fit for motivated individuals who thrive in energetic environments and take pride in delivering exceptional service.
