ξ€ ξΈ ξ 26003064 Requisition # Apply for Job Share this Job Sign Up for Job Alerts Works under the direction of the Supervisor Support Services, but with minimal direct supervision, to perform clean linen distribution, linen stocking maintenance and soiled linen pick up in a safe and effective manner. This position also provides backup for the Courier position as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers clean linen to customers. Picks up soiled linen from customers. Records quantities of clean linen delivered and/soiled linen pick up amounts as needed.
- Transports linen between the Laundry and the hospital buildings. Drives the organizations vehicles in a safe and lawful manner.
- Organizes and labels linen carts and stocking locations as needed.
- Maintains linen par levels.
- Communicates effectively to assure daily deliveries are complete and customer needs are met.
- Responds effectively to beeper calls as needed.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Must have a valid State of Michigan Chauffer's License and be Insurable with organization's provider.
Preferred:
- Previous Laundry / Linen delivery experience preferred but not necessary.
