Experience is a plus, but not a must, we will train the right candidate. The qualified candidate will have an outgoing personality, be a team player, and once trained in, work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work weekend, and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Pull laundry from laundry shoots, and sort accordance with all policies and procedures. Load articles into washer and add specified amount of detergent/soap, or other cleaning agent. Start machine that automatically washes and rinses articles. Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them successively into dryers for measured time cycles. Sort dried articles according to identification numbers or type. Fold and place items in appropriate storage bin. Sort articles to verify items are washed on appropriate cycle. Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution in vat to precondition articles for washing. Ensure proper care of machinery and report any difficulties with equipment. Ensure laundry area is kept clean and free of clutter and safety hazards. Complete other duties as assigned. What we do for you.
