Laundry/Public Area Attendant

Position Overview The Hotel Laundry & Public Areas Attendant supports daily hotel operations by processing linens, maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces, and upholding brand standards for guest comfort. This role is essential to creating a positive first impression and a consistently clean welcoming environment Responsibilities Laundry Operations — Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, while following proper chemical handling and machine‑use procedures. Public Area Cleaning — Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and other guest‑accessible spaces. Guest Interaction — Provide friendly, helpful service when encountering guests in public areas. Safety & Compliance — Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection‑control standards. Team Collaboration — Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and front‑desk teams to support smooth hotel operations. Follow safety and security measures Comply with all standards Other duties as assigned by supervisor Skills Attention to Detail — Ability to notice cleanliness issues and maintain high standards. Physical Stamina — Capable of push or pulling 30-40 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks. Time Management — Efficiently prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Reliability — Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic. Experience Preferred — Prior housekeeping or laundry experience is helpful but not required; training provided. Schedule & Work Environment Flexible Shifts including weekends and holidays Indoor Work Environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals
