Laundry Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotel operations, and will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry and cleaning tasks are executed to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens, and other items used within the hospitality environment. Responsibilities Launder and dry clean various items including sheets, towels, bedding, rags and rugs as per established standards. Operate washing machines, dryers, and cleaning equipment efficiently and safely. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to type and color. Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of laundry facilities and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation. Collaborate with staff to meet laundry demands in a timely manner. Skills Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of laundering techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact with staff and understand their needs regarding laundry services.
