Role:

The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation standards within the accommodation and food services industry. This position is responsible for efficiently handling the laundering, drying, folding, and organizing of linens, uniforms, and other textiles to ensure a continuous supply of clean materials. The role requires attention to detail to identify stains, damages, or wear and to report any issues promptly to management. The Laundry Attendant contributes to the overall guest experience by supporting the operational flow and hygiene standards of the establishment. This position demands reliability, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. Basic understanding of laundry procedures and stain removal techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a laundry or housekeeping environment within the accommodation or food services industry. Familiarity with industrial laundry chemicals and safety standards. Basic knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
