Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty equipment to process linens, towels, and guest clothing efficiently. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal care. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces. Inspect finished laundry for quality standards, removing any items that require reprocessing or special attention. Follow safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to prevent accidents or damage during laundry operations. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies like detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents. Skills Proven experience with laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and pressing. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures in a hospitality environment. Familiarity with dry cleaning methods and equipment is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
