Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Laundry Attendant, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will shine! In this vital role, you will ensure the timely and efficient cleaning and maintenance of linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles. Your dedication will help create a welcoming environment for guests and support the overall excellence of our hospitality services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in laundry operations while contributing to a positive guest experience. Duties Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform cleaning tasks such as spot removal and stain treatment to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation Manage inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when stock levels are low Follow safety protocols related to the handling of chemicals and machinery to prevent accidents or injuries Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by sweeping, mopping, and organizing equipment regularly Assist with dry cleaning processes when necessary and coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning needs Requirements Prior experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong understanding of laundry procedures including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques Ability to operate commercial laundry machines safely and efficiently Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens meet quality standards before distribution Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary Knowledge of basic cleaning practices and safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use A proactive attitude with excellent time management skills to meet daily workload deadlines Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality by ensuring our linens are pristine and guest spaces are spotless!
