Laundry Attendant

Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis Reliability Must be a fast paced worker and work well with others Multi-tasking skills Position requires frequent bending motions

Responsibilities:

Sort all linens and treat stains Load all laundry into washer and use correct cleaning cycle Sort, fold, and bag linen Prepare linen and terry carts for housekeepers Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs Clean laundry and storage rooms Position includes some weekend and/or holiday work. It is possible to increase hours by cross training in another department. Currently available cross training departments are Breakfast Attendant and Housekeeping (room cleaning). Cross training is not necessary to position for those looking for part time employment only.
