Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines with precision and care. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established standards. Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialized items to ensure quality results. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly through routine checks. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and machinery. Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and linens. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and guest items. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail to ensure all items meet cleanliness and presentation standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loads of laundry effectively.
