Job Description

Join our housekeeping team at Beachwoods Resort in Kitty Hawk! Position Summary The Hospitality Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitized, and properly organized linens for guest rooms and facility operations. This role ensures laundry services are completed efficiently, equipment is maintained, and all housekeeping and safety standards are followed to support a clean and welcoming environment.
Work Schedule Days:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Hours:
4:00 PM-11:00 PM Key Responsibilities Report to the Director of Housekeeping for scheduling and daily assignments. Respond to housekeeping requests and departmental communications. Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens according to company standards. Ensure all laundry is completed according to established schedules and operational needs. Maintain inventory of laundry chemicals and supplies Follow proper procedures for chemical handling, storage, refill, and disposal. Prepare cleaning bags and linen carts for housekeeping operations. Keep the area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Perform routine maintenance checks on laundry equipment and report issues promptly. Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Complete additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or custodial experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality required. Physical Requirements Frequently lift up to 40 lbs. Frequently lift and move laundry carts, bags, and equipment weighing 25-100 lbs. Push and pull carts and equipment throughout the shift. Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, twist, and reach for extended periods. Work safely with cleaning products and laundry chemicals. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
