Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position requires a commitment to quality service, ensuring that all items are laundered and presented to the highest standards, particularly in a hospital environment. Duties Operates laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures. Ensure proper handling of products and follow cleaning protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry to promote a safe and hygenic working environment. Inspect laundered items for stains or damages and report any issues to management. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while performing laundry tasks. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low. Skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and launder items effectively. Familiarity with various laundry cleaning and folding techniques. Previous experience in a hotel, hospital, or similar environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
