Hotel Laundry Attendant

We're searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks such as washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease. Responsibilities:

Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find

Qualifications:

Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products About Company We're just off Highway 2, seven miles from downtown attractions including the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and boutique businesses like Hurts Donut Co. and the Marcus Lincoln Grand Cinema in the historic Haymarket district.
