PT 7a-330p & 5p-8p with every other weekend
Laundry Aide Responsibilities:
Collect and launder linens, towels, and residents' personal clothing. Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry to proper locations. Label resident cloths as applicable. Operate laundry and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Follow proper infection control and isolation cleaning procedures. Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions as directed. Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to supervisor. Provide respectful and courteous service to residents and staff
Position Requirements:
Demonstrates Professionalism. Adhere to predetermined work dates and times. Regular scheduled attendance is required. Complete assignments in a timely manner as assigned. Work cooperatively with all departments. Consistently professional in appearance.
Qualification :
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, especially in healthcare. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Positive attitude and commitment to resident satisfaction.
