Job Description

Hanover Hill Health Care Center is hiring a full-time laundry assistant to join our Environmental Services team. This department is essential to creating and maintaining a comfortable, safe and clean environment for the residents and staff of our 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility. Located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire! Bulk/commercial laundry experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with a good work ethic and a team player attitude. Eligible candidate must be able to perform the tasks of sorting, washing, folding and distributing laundry to residents and patients.
Alternating schedule:
5:30am-2pm and 7:30am-4pm, rotating weekends
Job Requirements:
Must have the availability to work every other weekend Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to work in a high paced setting for extended periods of time and multitask Have a customer service oriented attitude to interact with staff, residents, family members, and the general public. Must be flexible in receiving work duties during work hours
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day laundry duties and functions as needed Coordinate daily laundry services with nursing services Maintain work areas in a clean and sanitary, safe, comfortable and attractive manner Follow established infection control and universal precautions at all times Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established environmental services procedures Hanover Hill is a Drug free workplace.
