Why does the job exist? This position will provide laundry services at a long term care facility. With duties may include, washing, drying, ironing, and distributing of clothes and linen. / Residents Ideal Candidate Patients / Clients/ Residents Minimum Qualification No prior experience or training required. Employment Requirements Must possess a valid Drivers License Working Conditions Work is performed in an institutional laundry setting. This position will require the ability to lift and/or carry up to eighty (80) pounds with assistance. Extended periods of standing or mobility, and working in excessive humidity on wet slippery surfaces with steam operating machinery, and high pressure air operated equipment may be required. May be required to work weekends, holidays, over time and call back hours as needed.
