Laundry Attendant

Part-Time Laundry Attendant Location:

Shadow Mountain Lodge - Ruidoso, NM (Managed by Upper Canyon Lodging)

Hours:

21-28 hours per week Training Provided Upper Canyon Lodging is seeking a dependable, organized, and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our team at our Shadow Mountain Lodge location specifically. This position plays an important role in ensuring our guests receive clean, well-prepared linens and that our housekeeping team has the supplies they need to maintain high standards throughout the property. Responsibilities Wash, dry, sort, fold, and organize towels, sheets, pillowcases, and other linens. Remove wet laundry from commercial machines and prepare loads for washing and drying. Use lint rollers and perform quality checks to ensure linens meet company standards. Organize and prepare laundry for housekeeping staff to distribute to guest rooms. Maintain accurate inventory levels of laundry and cleaning supplies, including detergents, softeners, dryer sheets, and related products. Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure linen needs are met throughout the day. Keep the laundry room clean, organized, safe, and free of clutter. Restock and maintain guest refresh stations throughout the property. Assist with light groundskeeping duties as needed, including wiping down outdoor furniture, filling bird feeders, and helping keep common outdoor areas presentable. Communicate effectively with team members using the company's internal communication app. Requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Good communication skills. Reliable cell phone capable of using company communication applications. Reliable transportation to and from the job site is required. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow established procedures. Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required. Physical Requirements This position involves repetitive physical work and requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, twist, reach, and lift. Handle wet laundry and move linen carts. Lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis. Perform repetitive folding and sorting tasks throughout the shift. What We Offer Paid training. Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
