Job DescriptionResponsible for dumping, picking, separating, and sorting soiled sheets, towels, pillow cases, bathmats and washcloths, table tops, napkins, aprons, bar mops, and housekeeping rags to appropriate bins/slings along designated sorting conveyor line.

Job FunctionsDump, pick up, separate, and sort product on the belt in a consistent manner to help ensure smooth product flow and improved productivity.

Discern type of article picked up and deposit in the appropriate bin/sling to complete the separating and sorting operation.

Maintain organization, cleanliness and safety practices within the sortation area.

Wear personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety training.

Other duties and tasks as assigned by Management.

QualificationsSix (6) months of experience in a high volume laundry production environment preferred.

Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of a normal shift.

Other physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and bending.

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
