Laundry Attendant

The Laundry Attendant will process linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe manner, and the brand's standards to achieve and maintain guest satisfaction, while embracing the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.

Responsibilities:

Ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning linen and terry daily according to operational policies and standards. Sort out stained linen for soaking and re-washing. Set damaged linen aside to be discarded. Operate washers and dryers according to load limits and type of linen being laundered. Fold, stack, hang and store all laundered linen and terry. Transport clean linen to linen closets and retrieve dirty linen from floors is necessary. Assist with monthly inventory. Check laundry chemical supplies.

Requirements:

Working in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate. Requires strong attention to detail. Must have open availability work weekends and holidays.

Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and be in motion for the full day. Must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
