OR COMMUTE. ROLE IS FOR MID JUNE TO MID AUGUST.
About the position: Join the Camp Scatico team as a Laundry Attendant.
Your duties will include:
Collecting hampers of dirty towels for washing at our on-site laundry facility. Washing and drying up to 175 towels daily using 3 commercial washing machines and 3 dryers. Delivering clean and folded towels back to camper cabins.
About Camp Scatico:
A 7-week residential summer camp in the Upper Hudson Valley for campers aged 8 through 15. Scatico provides an overnight camp experience that is values-based, community-oriented, and filled with camp spirit.
Compensation and time off:
Room and board can be provided (3 meals a day plus snacks) and lodging in staff housing, OR we can accommodate a commuter for the position. Laundry attendants work 6 days/ week, roughly 6-8 hours/ day. They receive 1 day off per week. Access to camp facilities and integration into a fun, spirited community is a perk of the job! Lake, sports facilities, crafts studios, camp events, etc.
