Job Description

United Staffing is looking for Laundry Attendants for our client in Far Rockaway, NY. This is for a linen and laundry company that services airlines in the NYC area.
Schedule:
2pm-10:30pm, 5 days a week (weekends included) with OT as needed.
Pay:
$18/hr Responsibilities Sort, inspect, and process airline linens and onboard service items. Handle blankets, sheets, pillows, headphones, and other airline supplies. Load, unload, and transport laundry bags, carts, and boxes. Assist with folding, packing, and preparing items for distribution. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform other duties as assigned by management. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Push, pull, and lift laundry bags, carts, and boxes. Work around industrial laundry equipment and machinery. Comfortable working in an environment with noise, heat, humidity, detergents, and cleaning chemicals. Handle used airline linens and service items in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications Previous warehouse, laundry, housekeeping, or production experience preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
